What a celebration!!!

First, let me start by saying, I have the most AMAZING husband!!! Yesterday was my 31st birthday. Robbie surprised me by taking the day off from work. He let me sleep in, and later, He and Herreson brought me breakfast in bed. I love a hardees biscuit and gravy. It is not the healthiest food to eat but man was it good. He also gave me a lovely bouquet of sunflowers.  I love it when he gives me different types of flowers and not the typical roses (however, those are nice too, and I would not complain)!

Following breakfast he sent me to have a pedicure! Again, this is something I adore and do not usually do for myself. It was so relaxing and my feet were in need of a good make over. Especially since it is flip-flop season, and I live in flip-flops. I went to Pinky Nails. They are wonderful! I highly recommend them, and I know they will do you right.

 (don't hate on the feet!)

For lunch he took me to one of my faves, River Nile. Most of you, I’m sure, know of this restaurant. It is such a cute café, in downtown Dothan, that serves some fantastic food. They recently re-opened and I am so glad to have them back. I had the mouth-watering red pepper soup along with the Chicken Salad Sandwich (known as the Pharaoh), Robbie had the French dip with sweet potato fries. We left stuffed!

ps – thank you to my wonderful sister-in-law, Aron, for keeping Herreson so we could go to lunch alone!

Last, but not least, we ended the day with a pool party. I just wanted to sit outside and enjoy my family and the sun. Aunt Aron, Hensley and Steven joined us in our back yard. The kids had a blast and the slide was a nice added feature. I had to drag Herreson out of the pool. He did not want out but his lips were starting to turn purple : )

It was a fantastic day and I could not have imagined it being any better. Thank you Robbie for loving me so well!!!! I do NOT deserve you!!!
